Anastasia's Class at Arrow Springs
I just got back from attending Anastasia's class at Arrow Springs Glass near Sacramento, California. Anastasia is from Germany so I didn't want to miss this opportunity to learn from her while she was teaching in the States. I absolutely loved this class! The other students I met were super nice and I'm looking forward to staying in touch with them. Just being immersed in 'all things glass' for two days straight was heaven for me! Along with fine stringer tree beads, we worked on a lot of sculptural elements ...which was the main reason I wanted to take the class. I can't wait to practice these techniques and add more 3-D elements to my beads! Below are pictures of some of the beads I made in class.

ReplyDeleteWoowwwwww. Seriously impressed. I wonder if I will EVER get to this point. In the meantime, I love supporting lampwork artisans!
ReplyDeleteThank you Daniela and Pretty Things! Anastasia's class was really fun - I'm excited to practice the new techniques we covered.
