December Beads

Beaches and Birds! I fantasize about warm tropical beaches during these cold winter months. I like to think of these as mini vacations in a bead! :)

Anastasia's Class at Arrow Springs

I just got back from attending Anastasia's class at Arrow Springs Glass near Sacramento, California.   Anastasia is from Germany so I didn't want to miss this opportunity to learn from her while she was teaching in the States.  I absolutely loved this class!  The other students I met were super nice and I'm looking forward to staying in touch with them.  Just being immersed in 'all things glass' for two days straight was heaven for me!  Along with fine stringer tree beads, we worked on a lot of sculptural elements ...which was the main reason I wanted to take the class.  I can't wait to practice these techniques and add more 3-D elements to my beads!  Below are pictures of some of the beads I made in class.
